Fountainhead Law Group is a well-established Silicon Valley IP Law firm with a growing list of exciting clients in the technology industry.

We are seeking one or more patent prosecution attorneys with 3+ years of patent prosecution experience and a strong technical background in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related area to support growing demand from new and existing clients.

Ideal candidates have the ambition to break out of BIGLAW and work with some of the top patent prosecution attorneys in the country on marquee clients to hone their skills, build their own practice, and grow into a leadership position within our firm.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for this position will be in the area of patent prosecution, with potential opportunities in the firm’s other service areas, including patent litigation support, post-grant, patent opinions, FTO, IP asset management, high-tech transactions, etc… (see our services)

THE FIRM SERVICES CLIENTS WITH VERY ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES. APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO DRAFT AND PROSECUTE ADVANCED LIFE SCIENCE, SOFTWARE AND/OR ELECTRONICS PATENT APPLICATIONS. THE APPROPRIATE TECHNICAL BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSES ARE REQUIRED.

Compensation:
Highly competitive compensation based on percentage (%) of collections for high quality work, top performance, technical background, and other factors. Lower minimum hours than BIGLAW for candidates desiring a work-life balance. BIGLAW billing (e.g., 1800+ hours) will likely result in better than BIGLAW compensation for high performing candidates.
